In like a lamb?

I'm a bit concerned. March is supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb . . . which means kind of a rough start to the month (weather-wise), but a nice, spring-y finish. It's now the third of March, and it appears to be coming in like a lamb. I am very worried that it will go out like a lion - especially since that's entirely possible here in the arctic tundra. While I'm enjoying the milder temperatures, I don't want it to get cold again!

It may just be me, but this has been a long, hard, cold winter. It doesn't seem like we've had many warm weather breaks in between the sub-zero days (weeks!). I think pretty much everybody here is ready for spring in a BIG way. How about you?

I am a firm believer in 'in like a lion out like a lamb' and I am also a little worried. We missed the Nor'easter that alot of the states got on Sunday, so I'm worried about tornado's come the end of the month.

In the last few days we've seen temps from -22 to +15. If the definition of Lion in this case is inconsistency then I'm believing the saying LOL.

I dunno - seems a bit lion-ish here anyway. We had sun yesterday but a big snowfall today.

But like you, I can't WAIT for spring!! I'm so tired of snowy and icy sidewalks.

I thought I was the only one who wondered about the whole lion/lamb thing! Glad you see I'm not alone.

While March 1 was a pleasant enough day, we've had windchills in the -22 to -27 degree range, so I think I'll consider that lion enough ('course I'm not putting the snow shovel away just yet...sigh)
